Meet Dr. Truman!

Hey y’all it’s Dr. Truman Morin! I figure that since I’m getting to know all you wonderful folks here is a good place for you to know a little about me!

I was born in Bloomington, Indiana and was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana so just about as Midwest as it gets. I grew up with my loving mother and father and a brother who is also following in my footsteps as a chiropractor who I could not be more proud of!

I decided to pursue the chiropractic profession after having been treated for a severe low back injury and brain fog I was experiencing for a prolonged period after sustaining multiple concussions. Chiropractic care was my last stop as traditional medicine had failed and I was told there was not much that could be done to get me back on the soccer and rugby field my senior year of high school. Long story short, I was back on the field in 2 weeks, playing at a level higher than I had been before my injury and my brain fog that had been bothering me for years was gone after 2 months of consistent specific care!! Needless to say, that is a pretty convincing pitch to anyone who wants to pursue a profession in the health care field!

For schooling, I attended Indiana University-Bloomington for 4 years from 2016-2020 and was awarded a Bachelors in Kinesiology. I promptly took that and, in the midst of Covid, started pursuing my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. During my education, I obtained Webster Certification to help pregnant mothers have better delivery outcomes and am pursuing my 200 hours of post-graduate coursework to become ICPA certified (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).

4 years later, here I am opening my very own chiropractic practice serving in the city I have dreamed about serving since I first thought to become a chiropractor!

I love working with kids, families, expecting mothers, athletes, and everyone who seeks care from me! Giving, Serving, and Loving are the tenants I approach my office with and the three things that I hold most valuable as a provider that I think are the greatest assistants to getting patients to wellness!

Outside of the office, you absolutely will find me and my wonderful girlfriend in the gym, out on the water fishing, or enjoying a local coffee joint reading either fantasy or science fiction! From Brandon Sanderson’s The Stormlight Archive, to J.R.R Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings to Frank Herbert’s Dune, all are captivating and a great passion of mine!
